As an assistant instructor to Mr. Franklin Joseph, it was my first time in an iTeachiPower.in – Girl Psychological Empowerment on Critical Decision Life Safety Skills, Combat Science & Military Krav Maga Self-Defense Wellness Education. It was good to interact with girls of my age in this workshop. They were born into families from the underprivileged sector. Due to my father’s background of being born into an underprivileged family and exposed to various crimes during his youth, I was aware that these girls might have been exposed to crimes before being brought into this respected establishment.
During one session of the workshop, my father Guruji Franklin Joseph explained the power of our voices. I urged them to loudly say, “NO!”. Many of the girls were shy and couldn’t speak loudly enough. Later on, I saw a girl screaming and talking with a girl on the third floor. This made me realize that these girls had potential but lacked inspiration and courage.

After practising some tactics & voice modulation drills, the girls gained the confidence to speak up confidently. Furthermore, we gave them physical training by doing tactics as well as physical stress exercises, such as push-ups and speed running in the hall, which were thoroughly enjoyed by them.
